The Asthma Files is now supported by a number of active collaborators, including: Mike Fortun, a historian of science at Rensselaer (focused on asthma genetics). Kim Fortun, a cultural anthropologist at Rensselaer focused on asthma as an index of environmental health. Alison Kenner, an STS PhD student at Rensselaer focused on modes of caring for asthma. Brandon Costelloe-Kuehn, an STS PhD student at Rensselear focused focused on the challenges of communicating about asthma, environmental science and politics. Nick Shapiro, an anthropology graduate student at Oxford focused on asthma in New Orleans. Dan Price, a philosopher at the University of Houston focused on Houston as an asthmatic space Surajit Sarkar, a Delhi-based video artist interested in creating performances with content from The Asthma File.
